Communication according to
neurological
disease

Have you had a stroke and are experiencing your environment/personal surroundings in a new way?
Are you suddenly confronted with disorders, e.g. in movement, speech or your independence?
Are you a relative of a person with aphasia (central speech disorder following a stroke) and find that all aspects of living with the person affected have changed?
Are you sometimes at a loss or do you sometimes feel helpless in the face of the changed conditions of the conversation?

How we can help you:
1. counseling of patients and
Relatives

If you or your relatives have already spoken to your family doctor or neurologist about support through speech therapy, you have the opportunity to have a diagnostic and consultation meeting.
- The doctor responsible for you will issue you with a prescription for speech therapy (outpatient or home visit / as individual or group therapy)
- You make an appointment for an initial consultation in our practice or for a home visit

2. therapy planning

If the neurological findings and the diagnosis of your responsible doctor make speech therapy necessary for you, we can usually offer you qualified speech therapy at short notice
- Costs will be covered by your health insurance company according to a doctor's prescription
- Full cost coverage up to the age of 18 and with 10% co-payment for adults (in accordance with statutory provisions)
